On Sunday, February 25th 4-7 am Facilities contractor’s will be trouble shooting switchgear, no power loss or blips is expected. As a precautionary measure , no work may occur in NTA 4th fl. ABSL3 suites and PEDS MPRB suites 7230, 7301,730 and 7230.

The effluent decontamination system (EDS) serving the MPRB 7230 BSL3 suite and 8201C-BSL3 lab will be out of service to accommodate the annual preventative maintenance and calibration of this system. Research work may continue in the 7230 BSL3 suite and 8201C-BSL3 lab during this outage between February 12th 7am -19th 7 am.

Starting at 9 pm on February 8th BSL3 lab 8201C will be out of service to prepare for plumbing repairs in the lab. Other labs within the suite will be available until 7 am on February 9th. Starting at 7 am on February 9th Suite 8201 will be out of service. NO work shall take […]

Elevator 102 will be out of service on Sunday, March 10th, at 8 am for 4 hours to perform preventive maintenance. The elevator will be back on service at noon.

On Tuesday, February 20th 5-6 am all normal power receptacles, lighting, mechanical equipment and elevators will be affected. Emergency power will be available.

On Monday, February 26th 9-11 pm Facilities will be making a building transfer in McDonnell Pediatric for the above time in order to install metering on the front of the switchgear. Building should not see a power interruption, the generator will run due to fire pump loss of power during the duration of the outage.

On Wednesday, February 7th 9-10 am Facilities will be repairing lighting inside BSL3 lab 562. During this time NO work shall be conducted in MCD 562 BSL3 lab.

On February 6th and 7th Facilities will be making improvements to the HVAC system serving the lower-level vivarium and BSL3 labs. The outage will be each day starting at 5 am and will be completed by 7 am on the 7th. At this time NO work shall be conducted in the BSL3 lab suite.

Access to the lower level from Wohl Clinic elevators #13, #14, #15, #16 & #17, will be disabled daily starting Monday, February 5th, through Friday, February 9th.
