On Wednesday, January 24th 7:00-8:30 am a lighting repair will be completed in 434-Animal Holding. NO work may occur in the 434/445 ABSL3 suite during this outage.

Elevator #113 will be out of service between 3:30 pm and 7:30 pm, to conduct 5-year inspections as required by the Elevator Safety Unit of the Missouri Department of Public Safety. The elevator will be returned to service once all inspection work is completed.

On Thursday, January 25th 4 pm through Friday, January 26th 7 am access to the lower level will be disabled on Elevator #16 and #17, so that contractors can install new flooring. Elevators 13, 14 & 15 can still be used if needed, during this time.

On Friday, January 19th 4-7 am contractors will be turning off air handler AHU7B which serves the south side of the 7th floor. The south side of the 7th floor will experience loss of airflow and slightly cooler than normal temperatures during this time.

On Wednesday, January 10th 7-11 am contractors/Facilities will be doing inspections of the Fire Alarm System devices during this time. During this time they should not be setting off the Audio/Visuals of the fire alarm system and will not need to leave the building.

On Tuesday, January 9th 5-7 am facilities technicians will be completing preventative maintenance task on the HVAC system serving the 4th floor. During this time NO work shall take place in any 4th floor BSL3 lab.

Elevator #2 in this building will be out of service for about 2 to 4 hours between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm on January 10th, to conduct annual inspections and fire recall tests as required by the Elevator Safety Unit of the Missouri Department of Public Safety. On Thursday, January 11th 12:30 p, – 6:30 pm facilities technicians will be installing additional safety features to the domestic hot water system serving floors 7-11. During this time occupants on floors 7–11 will only have cold water to fixtures in bathrooms, showers, kitchenette, and any other services using domestic hot water.

Elevators in the listed buildings will be out of service to be tested on emergency generator power, from 6 am to 7 am each day starting on Monday, January 22, through Thursday, January 25.
