BJC Facilities will be changing out a breaker on October 4th 4 am – 6 am. This will affect the normal power in the building, emergency power will be available after a short blip when the generator starts.

Cancer Research Building-Stairwell Service Interruption 7/14-21/2023
On July 14th 5 am to July 21st 3:30 pm the North stairwell from 4th to 6th will be blocked off for construction in the Cancer Research building. In these days there will be no access to the North stairwell to the 4th – 6th floor.

Steven & Susan Lipstein BJC Institute of Health-Exhaust Fan Service Interruption 6/22/2023
On Thursday, June 22nd 4 -7 am Facilities will be performing preventive maintenance on the supply and exhaust systems that serve the lower-level vivarium as well as the ABSL3 lab. No work should be performed in that ABSL3 lab during times. The temperatures in this area may become a little warmer than normal.
McDonnell Pediatric Research Building-Philips BSL3 Lab Room 7302 Service Interruption 6/21-23/2023
The Philips BSL3 lab (room #7302) will be decontaminated on Wednesday, June 21st. Warning signs will be posted on the anteroom door while the process is underway. Maintenance activities will be occurring in the BSL3 lab when the decontamination is complete. No research work is allowed in the Philips BSL3 lab during this outage.
CSRB North Tower Addition-BSL3 Lab 434/445 Service Interruption 5/25/2023
In order for facilities to troubleshoot and repair a door issue BSL3 lab 434/445 will be out of service on Thursday, May 25th 7-9 am. During this time NO work shall take place inside the lab.
East Imaging Center-Chilled Water Service Interruption 2/9/2023-2/10/2023
On Thursday, February 9th from 3 pm to 3 am there will be a chilled water outage in the East Imaging Center. This will only affect the basement Cyclotron facility in this time frame no other equipment will be impacted.
Steven & Susan Lipstein BJC Institute of Health-Air Handling Unit Service Interruption 12/14/2022-12/15/2022
To perform preventative maintenance there will be a reduction of supply and/or exhaust air to the lower level and BSL3 labs each morning on the 14th and 15th between the hours of 3 am and 7 am. During this time NO work shall be conducted in the BSL3 labs.
McDonnell Sciences Building-Door Latch Service Interruption 9/30/2022
An issue with the door latch serving 562B BSL3 lab will be troubleshooted on Friday, September 30th 8 am – 9:30 am. NO work may occur in the 562-BSL3 lab during this outage.
Wohl Clinic, Barnard Hospital
Vacuum Service Interruption 4/8/2022 In order to support renovations, there will be no lab vacuum available on Friday, April 8th 1 am – 7 am.
