Synopsis: A student reported parking her vehicle in the Clayton Taylor Garage on Tuesday, 7/6/2021. Upon returning to the vehicle on 7/9/2021, she noticed a loud sound coming from the exhaust. She had the vehicle towed and was later told the area around the catalytic converter had been damaged. After learning this, the employee reported the damage to Protective Services for investigation. She was advised to make a report with the SLMPD, as well.

Synopsis: A student reported parking his vehicle in the 4444 East Surface Lot at approximately 4:00 pm.  Upon returning to his vehicle, he found the catalytic converter had been removed and left underneath the vehicle.  A review of CCTV cameras revealed three unknown subjects removed the catalytic converter from the vehicle at approximately 4:40 pm but left without it.  Protective Services is investigating.
