Synopsis:  A WUSM employee ordered food from GrubHub. He received notification that the food arrived. However, after sending the notification, the driver took the food and left with it. The employee filed a complaint with GrubHub. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: 4511 Forest Park Ave. Surface Parking Lot.
Synopsis:  A WUSM employee observed and reported an unidentified subject on the lot of the 4511 Forest Park Ave. parking lot taking license plate tabs off several vehicles. The subject was gone prior to Protective Services officers arriving on scene. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported the theft of his backpack from the second floor of the North Building. His backpack contained several credits cards, cash, and ID cards. A review of CCTV footage in the area revealed an unidentified subject was in the area around the time of the theft. The same subject is believed to be responsible for thefts from the Cancer Research Building and the McDonnell Medical Sciences Building. The subject was observed on camera leaving with the backpack. A relevant BOLO was issued to campus security.

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported the theft of her backpack from the third floor of the MMSB. The backpack contained an iPad, MacBook, ID cards, and various personal items. A review of CCTV footage in the area revealed an unidentified subject was in the area around the time of the theft. The same subject is believed to be responsible for thefts from the North Building and the Cancer Research Building. The subject was observed on camera leaving with the backpack. A relevant BOLO was issued to campus security.

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported the theft of his wallet from the sixth floor of the Cancer Research Building. The wallet contained cash, credit cards and IDs. A review of CCTV footage in the area revealed an unidentified subject was in the area around the time of the theft. The same subject is believed to be responsible for thefts from the North Building and the McDonnell Medical Sciences Building. The subject was observed on camera leaving with two backpacks reported stolen from the other buildings. A relevant BOLO was issued to campus security.

Synopsis:  Upon returning from three weeks of vacation, a WUSM employee reported the theft of small power tools and other miscellaneous items from the 6th floor of the BJCIH. Other employees reported the theft of small items from around 12/25/2023. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A WUSM faculty member reported the theft of a Garmin watch from a secured office on the 7th floor of the CSRB. Protective Services is investigating. The watch was recovered on 2/1/2024.

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported his backpack went missing. The employee was unsure if he left the backpack in the Couch Building or MMSB. A second employee subsequently reported the theft of a laptop from the 3rd floor of the MMSB. A review of CCTV footage showed an unidentified subject used a WUSM employee's lost ID badge to enter a campus building. The subject proceeded to walk around several campus buildings before leaving the area carrying a backpack with which he did not arrive. Protective Services is investigating.
