Synopsis: Employees of the 4th floor of the MIR building reported finding blankets in a restroom suggesting that someone is trespassing and sleeping in the restroom overnight. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis: Protective Services officers responded to the Metro Garage for a report of a suspicious person who matched the description of a subject who stole items from the Gary C. Werths Building at Siteman Cancer Center. Officers located the subject and found him to be in possession of several stolen items. Officers took him into custody and determined he had several active warrants. The SLMPD was called. However, they declined to respond. Officers released the subject and ensured that he left campus. 
Disposition: Investigation Complete. Suspect Arrested and Released.

Synopsis:  Protective Services responded to the 3rd floor of the MIR for a report of suspicious activity. Staff reported someone had slept in the beds in the holding area. They found dirty linens and trash in the area.  Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  Protective Services responded to the 3rd floor of the MIR for a report of suspicious activity. Staff reported someone had slept in the hospital beds. The sheets were wrinkled and the pillows were out of place. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported that a vehicle followed her into the Metro Garage and one of the occupants tried to approach her. She quickly left the area and notified Protective Services. She later called Protective Services for an escort back to her vehicle. She saw the vehicle parked a few spaces away and pointed it out to the officer. The vehicle quickly left the garage upon seeing Protective Services.  A review of CCTV footage in the area showed the occupants of the vehicle appeared to be lost and attempting to find a location on campus. They coincidentally arrived and left campus around the same time as the WUSM employee.

Synopsis:  Protective Services received a call from staff at the MIR reporting suspicious activity over the weekend. A bed appeared to have been slept in. There were dirty linens and trash present. Nothing was stolen.  Protective Services is investigating.

Larceny, Suspicious Activity

Location: Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) 8th Floor
Synopsis:  Protective Services officers responded to the 8th floor of the MIR for a report of suspicious activity. Employees reported signs of someone sleeping in one of the rooms. A chair was moved and blankets were in the area that were not present the night before. A spray bottle and boxes of gloves were missing from the room. Other suspicious activity had been observed by staff for the previous three months. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  Protective Services officers responded to the first floor of the GCWB for a report of suspicious activity. Upon arriving to work, a WUSM employee noticed that her desk drawers were open. Nothing appeared to be missing. The employee recalled that she had not locked the drawers the night before.  Protective Services is investigating.
