Synopsis:  A WUSM employee contacted Protective Services to report receiving a suspicious phone call on his personal cell phone. The employee received a phone call from the phone number for Protective Services dispatch center. When the employee answered, a male voice told the employee he was from Tony's Pizza and requested a credit card number for a pizza order. The employee declined to provide his credit card information and terminated the call.  Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  Protective Services officers responded to a report of an unknown man throwing things in the street and yelling indiscriminately. Upon arriving to area, officers attempted to approach the subject, however he abandoned his property and walked away from campus. Officers retrieved the subject's belongings and located two loaded magazines. No weapon was located. The subject was identified and his information was disseminated to campus security.
Disposition:  Investigation Complete

Synopsis:  Protective Services received several reports that a male subject without a shirt was panhandling in the Clayton Garage. One employee reported the subject had made lewd comments to her. Protective Services searched the garage and located the subject who was a known trespasser. Officers detained the subject and removed him from the garage. The SLMPD responded to campus and took the subject into custody.
Disposition: Subject removed from campus.

Synopsis:  A Clayco contractor reported an unaffiliated man entered a construction trailer uninvited. He used Clayco supplies to make himself a sandwich and took a drink from the cooler. He immediately left the trailer and walked to the MetroLink.  Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  Protective Services responded to the east surface lot of 4511 Forest Park Ave. for a report of a suspicious person. The person was gone upon officers' arrival.  A review of the CCTV footage in the area showed the subject removed license plate renewal tags from a vehicle.  Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Wohl Clinic 5th and 6th Floors
Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported a suspicious person walking through the Wohl Clinic 5th and 6th floors. Protective Services made contact with the subject and identified him. He claimed he was looking for the Emergency Department. Due to active warrants, the subject was detained. The SLMPD declined to respond to campus to take him into custody. Protective Services officers warned the subject against future trespass and observed him enter the BJH Emergency Department. Later, BJH Public Safety reported the same subject stole items from the BJH Cafeteria and fled.
Disposition:  Subject Identified. Trespass Warning Issued.

Location: Euclid Power Plant Bike Rack
Synopsis:  Protective Services officers received a report of a subject acting suspiciously near the Euclid Power Plant Bike Rack. The subject was riding a bicycle and handling other bikes at the rack. Officers located the subject who was non cooperative. The subject initially refused to identify himself or his reason for being on campus. Officers eventually identified him and determined he had no business on campus. He was warned against future trespass and escorted from campus.
Disposition:  Subject Identified. Trespass Warning Issued.

Synopsis:  Protective Services officers received a report of a subject acting suspiciously in the East Building. Custodial staff noticed a subject peak out from behind the door of the shower room on the 1st floor of the East Building. The subject exited the building shortly after. Investigation revealed the subject took a shower and discarded used clothes in the bathroom. A review of CCTV in the area showed the subject gained access by "tailgating" in the front entrance after an employee badged in. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: The Core Apartment Residences, 818 S. Euclid Ave.
Synopsis:  Protective Services officers received a report of a subject acting suspiciously in the parking lot of 818 S. Euclid Ave. Officers searched the area and located a subject. The subject was unaffiliated with WUSM with an active parole violation warrant. Officers took the subject into custody and turned him over to the SLMPD. Officers canvassed the 818 S. Euclid surface lot and determined there was no evidence of any vehicle tampering.
Disposition:  Suspect Arrested. Judicial Disposition Unknown.
