Synopsis:  An unknown subject removed an AED from the hallway in the McMillan Hospital Building in an attempt to steal it. The subject later left the AED in another area of campus. The subject may have also stolen various clothing items from campus. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: MetroLink Welcome Center Information Booth
Synopsis:  Protective Services dispatchers observed a subject attempting to stick his hand through the exchange slot of the MetroLink Welcome Center Information Booth. Officers contacted the subject on the MetroLink platform. The subject ran from the officers when they attempted to take him into custody. A relevant BOLO was disseminated to campus security.
Disposition: Subject Identified. BOLO issued.

Location:  400-600 block of Euclid Ave.
Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported observing to unaffiliated subjects threatening each other on Euclid Ave. The employee believed one of the subjects lifted his shirt to show a weapon was present. One subject left campus westbound on Barnes Jewish Hospital Plaza and Kingshighway. The other subject left campus on a MetroLink train. No injuries were reported. Protective Services is investigating to determine the identities of the subjects.

Location:  4240 Duncan Ave.
Synopsis:  Cortex Courtesy Patrol requested assistance from Protective Services in detaining four subjects who were the subjects of a previous BOLO. The subjects had damaged Cortex property and attempted to infiltrate a security booth. Protective Services responded and detained the subjects. Protective Services officers found quantities of drugs and other paraphernalia on the subjects. The SLMPD responded to the scene and arrested all four subjects. They were then released with court summonses.

Synopsis:  A former WUSM employee claimed to be a Medical Education student. The subject created and displayed a fake WUSM ID badge and Medical Education identification. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported the two unidentified subjects were in a breakroom on the 7th floor of the McMillan Hospital Building. The employee witnessed the subjects engaged in inappropriate behavior. The employee told the subjects to leave to which they complied. The subjects were gone prior to Protective Services officers' arrival. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  Two WUSM employees reported a suspicious person loitering in the second floor lobby and bathroom of the Grant Medical Clinic. The employees recognized the subject as someone who had loitered in the building previously and made employees feel uncomfortable. The subject made inappropriate comments and left the building prior to officers arriving. Protective Services is investigating.
