Synopsis: A WUSM employee's vehicle was broken into while parked on Scott Ave. A laptop was stolen from within the vehicle. A review of CCTV footage showed at least four suspects arrived on campus in a white Nissan Sentra with no plates. Three suspects exited the vehicle. Two of the suspects stood guard with handguns while the third broke into the vehicle. Two other instances of tampering were reported that are possibly related. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis: A WUSM employee's vehicle was broken into while parked on McKinley Ave. Nothing was stolen from within the vehicle. A review of CCTV footage showed at least four suspects arrived on campus in a white Nissan Sentra with no plates. Two suspects exited the vehicle broke into the parked vehicle. Two other instances of tampering were reported that are possibly related. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Maternity Hospital Building Physician On Call Surface Parking Lot
Synopsis: Barnes-Jewish Hospital Public Safety officers informed Protective Services officers that they witness a vehicle break-in on the Physician On Call surface parking lot. The suspect vehicle fled the area. Officers responded to the lot and determined two vehicles were damaged in the form of shattered windows. One of the vehicles belonged to a WUSM employee who was notified. It is unknown if anything was stolen from within the vehicles. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis: A WUSM student reported damage to her vehicle while it was parked on Clayton Ave. near the 718 Core Residence Apartments. The front passenger side window was broken out and a coat and other miscellaneous items were stolen.  Protective Services is investigating.

Location: 4444 Forest Park Ave.
Synopsis:  A contract security officer called Protective Services to the 4444 Forest Park Ave. parking lot after noticing a subject attempting to remove a license plate from a parked vehicle. The subject left prior to officers' arrival, however he was located a short distance away. The subject had two license plates in his possession. Our officers arrested the subject and call the SLMPD to the scene. SLMPD officers took custody of the subject and removed him from campus.
Disposition: Suspect Arrested. Judicial Disposition Unknown

Synopsis:  Barnes Jewish Hospital Public Safety reported over 30 vehicles were damaged by two unknown suspects in the Laclede Garage. Several windows were shattered and items were stolen from vehicles. The incident was reported to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. No further information available.

Location: Clayton Avenue Building (CAB) Surface Lots
Synopsis:  BJH Public Safety reported a total of more than 47 vehicles were damaged in tampering events committed by two subjects in a white Acura SUV.  Various items including cash and firearms were stolen from the victims who were parked around the CAB. The SLMPD reported to the scene to take a report. BJH Public Safety and Protective Services are assisting  the SLMPD with their investigation.
