On Saturday, January 7th 6 am – 8 am Facilities will be turning off the gas that feeds floors 7-11 and LL-A/BSL3. There will be no available gas in those areas during this time.

On Friday, January 6th 12 pm – 6 pm Facilities will be turning off the steam to the entire building. The building may experience temperatures cooler than normal. All steam appliances such as sterilizers, autoclaves, rack and glass washers, and steam kettles will be unavailable during this time.
Bernard Becker Medical Library-Air Handling Unit 1/12/2023
On Thursday, January 12th from 3 am to 7 am Bernard Becker Medical Library air handling unit #2 will be turned off to replace canvas connections. In these times there will be limited to no heating/ cooling and airflow to the Atrium, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors.
Steven & Susan Lipstein BJC Institute of Health-Air Handling Unit Service Interruption 12/14/2022-12/15/2022
To perform preventative maintenance there will be a reduction of supply and/or exhaust air to the lower level and BSL3 labs each morning on the 14th and 15th between the hours of 3 am and 7 am. During this time NO work shall be conducted in the BSL3 labs.
McDonnell Sciences Building-Door Latch Service Interruption 9/30/2022
An issue with the door latch serving 562B BSL3 lab will be troubleshooted on Friday, September 30th 8 am – 9:30 am. NO work may occur in the 562-BSL3 lab during this outage.

Vacuum Service Interruption 4/8/2022 In order to support renovations, there will be no lab vacuum available on Friday, April 8th 1 am – 7 am.
Mallinckrodt Institute Radiology-Elevator Service Interruption 12/5/2021
Elevator 102 will be out of service on Sunday, December 5th at 8 am for 4 hours to perform preventive maintenance. At the same time, the flooring of the elevator will be replaced. The elevator will be back on service at noon.

Renovations resumed to the south stairwell in the Duncan Taylor Garage. During this time, the south stairwell will not be available for use.
