Synopsis:   Two unaffiliated subjects were observed fighting with each other in the area of the MetroLink platform and S. Euclid Ave. BJH Public Safety officers attempted to intervene, and both subjects resisted. Protective Services officers arrived on scene and assisted BJH Public Safety with the detention. The subjects were determined to be in a romantic relationship. The SLMPD responded to campus and took custody of both subjects.

Synopsis:   An unaffiliated subject reported that his girlfriend who is a BJC employee stole his phone from him while he was parked on S. Euclid Ave. near the Irene Walter Johnson Institute of Rehabilitation. During the altercation, the subject suffered scratches to his hands and face. Protective Services officers located the BJC employee and recovered the phone. During questioning, the employee reported that her boyfriend had assaulted her by placing her in a headlock and cutting off her airway. She scratched him to free herself from the assault. Neither party agreed to press charges and both declined medical attention. The unaffiliated subject left campus and the BJC employee returned to work.

Synopsis:   A WUSM employee reported suspicious activity in an office on the 1st floor of the McMillan Hospital Building. Officers arrived and noted several signs of intentional property damage. A review of CCTV footage in the area showed a known trespasser was able to “piggy-back” into the building and is likely responsible for the damage. Protective Services is investigating.
