Synopsis:  WUSM employees assigned to the WUSM Tech Bar on the 2nd floor of the CSRB reported finding several desk and cabinet drawers were opened and rummaged through upon his arrival at work. The employee reported a charger, docking station and flash drive were missing. A review of CCTV footage in the area showed an unidentified subject jumped over the Tech Bar counter and accessed the area.  The subject left the area with a red backpack with which he did not arrive and a laptop. He walked through other areas of campus and ultimately left camera view carrying a bin full of items. The unidentified subject is the same person responsible for a similar theft report on 6/16/2025.  Protective Services is investigating.

Vehicle Tampering, Property Damage

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee made a delayed report of vehicle tampering. The employee parked her vehicle in the Duncan Central Garage at approximately 5:15am. She received a call from another employee at about 12:30pm who noticed that her vehicle’s door was open in the garage. She asked the employee to shut the door. When she got to her vehicle at the end of the day, she noticed damage to the door key lock. The glove box had been rummaged through but nothing was missing.  Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A patient called and reported a quantity of cash was missing from their purse after her appointment at the GCWB.  The patient reported they left their purse in an exam room with an employee for a short time. When she returned, the employee was behaving suspiciously. When the patient returned home, she realized the cash was missing from her purse. Protective Services is investigating.

Trespassing

Synopsis:  Protective Services officers observed a known trespasser attempting to enter the McMillan Hospital Building. The officers took the subject into custody and escorted him to the Mid Campus Center to await the SLMPD. Officers located suspected drugs in the subjects possession. The SLMPD declined to respond. Protective Services seized the drugs and released the subject with another trespass warning.

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee secured his bike to the Euclid Power Plant bike rack using a cable lock. When he returned to the bike rack, the bike was missing. Protective Services is investigating.
