The employee saw the gas tank cover was open and the cap was hanging below it. The employee believed someone may have siphoned gas from the truck. A review of CCTV footage in the area showed the gas tank cover was not latched upon the truck being parked and large gust of wind blew it entirely open at which time the gas cap fell out. The employee later tried to put gas in the tank, however it leaked out. Upon inspection, it appeared holes were drilled into the bottom of the gas tank. Protective Services is investigating.
