AS OF 2:30 p.m. ALL HVAC SYSTEMS HAVE RETURNED TO NORMAL OPERATION AND ALL ROOM PRESSURES ARE OPERATING NORMALLY. ALL WORK MAY RESUME AT THIS TIME.
At approximately 11:00am there was an issue with an electrical issue for a scheduled electrical outage which caused multiple exhaust fan failures causing high room pressure alarms for BSL3 labs on floors 7 and 8 in McDonnell Pediatric Research Building and the 4th floor A/BSL3 labs in CSRB-North Tower Addition. At this time no work should take place within this labs. At this time Facilities Engineering is in the process of recovering the Exhaust Fans. A follow-up message will be delivered once all mechanical systems and room pressures are working in a normal manner.
