The purpose of this outage is to perform maintenance and testing on the main electrical systems in the BJCIH building. This is the second of five outages required to safely and effectively service the switch gear. We will be switching sections of the building to one electrical feed in order to perform the necessary work. We do not anticipate the required switching to cause any power loss or blips.
As a precautionary measure, no work may take place in the B120 ABSL3 suite each day during the power feed switching from 6:00 am to 6:30 am and from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm. OFMD will confirm that the B120 suite is unoccupied prior to switching the power.
