OFMD will be completing preventative maintenance on the large supply and exhaust air handling units that serve all of the labs in MPRB. In addition, preventative maintenance will be completed on the exhaust fans that serve the BSL3 labs in the building.
To conduct the preventive maintenance, there will be intermittent periods of supply air and exhaust air to all of the labs in the building.
• During this time, research with hazardous materials should not be performed in the impacted areas. Fume hood sashes should be closed and not used.
• The supply air units for all of the labs in the building will be off intermittently during the times noted above. Supply air and space temperature for these areas will be affected during the work periods listed above.
• The supply and exhaust airflow to all of the BSL3 lab suites will be off intermittently during this outage for preventative maintenance on September 16th 3:00am-7:00am. NO WORK MAY OCCUR IN THE BSL3 LABORATORY SUITES (7230, 7301, 7303, and 8201) DURING THIS OUTAGE.
