OFMD Update

Mark your calendar for upcoming sustainability events

Farmers Market

As part of WashU’s celebration of Food Week, OFMD is bringing HarvestFest to the Farmers Market on Thursday, October 7, from 10am – 2pm! HarvestFest is a celebration of local farmers and fall foods. Stop by to chat with our local vendors and try some fresh apple cider!

Free bike tune up

In addition to HarvestFest, OFMD is also sponsoring a FREE bike tune up Thursday, October 7, from 10am – 2pm. This is your last chance to tune up your bike before the weather gets colder. We are offering this free bike tune up as part of Active Transportation Month – a month of fun and educational programming for the WashU community revolving around biking, walking, and public transportation. Email Sustainability Coordinator Heather Craig at hcraig@wustl.edu with any questions.

E-waste and paper shredding drive

OFMD, the Office of Sustainability, WashU Office of Information Security, and BJC Information Security are teaming up to bring the WUSM community an e-waste and paper shredding drive on Tuesday, October 19th from 7:30am – 11:00am. All are welcome to bring accepted items to the collection drive. Find out more about the drive here or email Heather Craig, Sustainability Coordinator, at hcraig@wustl.edu.
