Elevator #34 of the South Medical Building will be out of service from January 10, 2022 at 7:00 AM to May 06, 2022 at 4:30 PM for a complete remodel. Cab, doors, machine room and signaling systems will be replaced. During this time, the 2nd and 3rd floors of the South Building can be accessed without using stairs via the McDonnell Science Building. The 4th floor of the South Building can be accessed without using stairs via the Cancer Research Building. There have been cargo lifts installed in the South Building between the 4th and 5th floors in the stairwell for material transport only.
