Ameren will have contractors working on the infrastructure in Newstead, Clayton, and the vacated alley south of Clayton.
Beginning the week of January 17, 2022, there will be a phased lane drop within the center lane of Newstead. In the following weeks and months we will transition to working in the vacated alley south of Clayton west to Newstead, and north of the MetroLink Crossing at Newstead.
We will have crews working south of the MetroLink Crossing at Newstead.
Daytime work – Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, weather permitting. Please review the attached traffic control plans for lane drop information in Newstead. North Clayton Avenue Phase 1, North Clayton Avenue Phase 2 and Newstead Intersection Phase 1.
This work is expected to continue through mid-March.
As the project progresses, unanticipated variables may alter the plan.
