On March 20, 7 am – 11 am This outage will affect most of the 208/120V lighting and receptacles throughout the North Building. Any lighting, receptacles and equipment connected to the normal 208/120V system will be without power for the duration of the outage. However, any lighting, receptacles or equipment connected to emergency generator power will not be affected and shouldn’t see any disruptions. The purpose of this outage is to perform maintenance and testing on the main electrical switchgear that distributes 208/120V power throughout NOR. This requires de-energizing the necessary switchgear so that we can safely and effectively perform the required work. This work will ensure that our main electrical systems will continue to provide safe and reliable power.
