Campus street work – New Research Building to Becker Medical Library

Sent on behalf of Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Beginning the week of June 6th, Sachs Electric (ArchKey) will be working on the Medical Campus to install a new TFC underground fiber optic cable between the new Neurosciences Research Building and BJC @ the Commons. This work will consist of cable pulling efforts in the street through TFC manholes. During the scheduled timeframe, Sachs will be installing TFC underground fiber optic cable that will extend from the Commons Building on Clayton to the new Research Building at Duncan & Newstead.

The path for this cable work will be on Boyle, TFC MH #79, running south, east of the center of street, northbound curb lane, to TFC MH #74 on Boyle, then turn east into the building. This underground work will require access to the TFC manhole system along the route to include TFC MH #75 and #74. *Please see the included Raceway Map for manhole reference.

Weather permitting; the planned duration of this work is through close of business, Friday, June 24th. All work will be done during the day shift, beginning daily at 9 am and ending at 3 pm each day. There are NO anticipated street closures involved, but intermittent lane obstructions and traffic shifts will occur.
