On Monday, September 12th, Western Waterproofing will start making repairs to the north parapet wall on the roof of the McDonnell Pediatrics Research Building in preparation for the roof replacement, tentatively scheduled to start the week of October 3rd. The work will cause some sound due to intermittent light hammering, which should last for roughly 2-3 hours only on the morning of Monday, September 12th. Western will also use a power washer from Monday, September 12th until the end of the day on Wednesday, September 14th. Please expect noise from the power washer in the labs below.
Also, on Monday, September 12th, the north entrance will be closed to staff and pedestrians for overhead protection but will be reopened on Tuesday, September 13th. All foot traffic entering or exiting MPRB must utilize the south entrance on Monday, September 12th only. Please see the image for assistance.
