An inspection of the large supply air handling unit (AHU-2) that serves the labs on the eastern side of the building needs to be conducted in preparation for an upcoming outage to change a large fan motor in the unit on January 11th 5 am – 6:30 am
During the outage, occupants in the building should expect the following:
• There will be reduced exhaust airflow to all of the non-BSL3 laboratories in the building. No work should occur in fume hoods during the outage.
• The supply air to the labs on the eastern side of the building will be off. Supply air and space temperature for these areas will be affected during the outage.
• The supply and exhaust airflow to the BSL3 lab suites will not be affected. Work may be conducted in all of the BSL3 labs during this outage.
