This will be the first of two outages. The purpose of this outage is to perform maintenance and testing on the main electrical switchgear that distributes power throughout the EH&S Building. This requires de-energizing half of the main electrical switchgear, fed from the ‘D’ utility, so that we can safely and effectively perform the required work. This work will ensure that the main electrical systems will continue to provide safe and reliable power. This outage will mainly affect the mechanical equipment serving the building. This includes AHU-1 & 2, an elevator and various pumps. The Solar Array will also be de-energized for this outage.
