Barnes-Jewish Plaza to close September 30th between 3 am and noon

Sent on behalf of Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Barnes-Jewish Plaza will close Saturday, September 30th starting at approximately 3 am so concrete can be pumped onto the deck of the new pedestrian bridge, which was set last weekend. The street is expected to reopen around noon.

Watch this video to see just how slowly the crane moved the 183,000 pound bridge.
Detours will be in place, directing drivers both for entering and exiting the campus, the same detours as the prior weekend.

Team members and physicians should plan to take the Boyle exit to Clayton Avenue during this time to avoid delays and to reduce traffic for patients and visitors.
