Over the next few months, the WUSM Transportation & Parking (T&P) team will update the Clayton and Metro Garages parking equipment. The project starts next week, and we will send updates as it progresses.
Clayton Garage: The T&P team will remove all cash payment options from the exit lanes in the Clayton Garage. If you wish to pay with cash, you must use the Pay-on-Foot Stations or the attendant in the booth. We are adding a Pay-on-Foot to the south elevator lobby.
Metro Garage: The T&P team will remove all cash payment options from the drive lanes in the Metro Garage. We are adding Pay-on-Foot Stations to the first- and third-floor elevator lobby. If you wish to pay cash, you must pay through the stations.
Credit/debit cards will be accepted through all exit lanes. You may also prepay with credit/debit cards at the Pay-on-Foot Stations. Once you have paid, you have 30 minutes to exit the garage. If you are over the 30 minutes, the time will start accumulating, and you will be required to pay additional amounts when exiting.
If you have a Clayton Garage discounted debit card, you can use your card on the SKIDATA proximity reader to enter and exit the garage (meaning you will no longer need to pull a ticket).
