Facilities Operations Update

Public realm work will occur on Taylor Avenue starting March 13th

Workers will mill and overlay Taylor Avenue this week as part of the Ambulatory Cancer Building project.

The plan outlines the traffic plan for Phases A and B. Milling operations will start on Wednesday, March 13th, at 7 am, and paving operations will start on Thursday, March 14th, at 7 am.

Workers will mill the outer lanes first, maintaining two-way traffic down the center of the roadway. Then, they will flip two-directional traffic to the outer side of the roadway while milling the center. On Thursday, workers will follow the same approach.
The striping crews will be on-site on Thursday, March 14th, to complete the pavement markings. That way, the roadway will be open by the end of the day on Thursday, March 14th, and the work will be complete.

Overnight on Wednesday, March 13th, there will be temporary pavement marking tabs on the milled surface to show the lanes.

We will work with adjacent buildings during this process to maintain access to deliveries or patients.
