Facilities Operations Update

New WUSM ID badge policy and process for ordering badges

The Washington University School of Medicine’s Operations & Facilities Management Department is emailing today with important information about the badge policy on campus, including a new process for ordering badges for specific circumstances.
Identification is required on the School of Medicine campus for institutional identity, promoting safety for all university community members, and obtaining certain special services and privileges. WUSM Protective Services issues identification badges to all faculty, staff, students, and selected contract employees.

For more information, please review the Washington University ID policy.

We recommend that WUSM employees and students replace their WUSM-issued ID badges when one or more of the following are applicable:

  • The picture does not represent a current depiction of the holder
  • The badge is cracked or damaged
