The Taylor Avenue Building (TAB), planned as the new location for the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Child Development Center, necessitated the relocation of over 35,000 net assignable square feet (NASF) of existing departmental office and dry lab space from TAB to make room for the construction of the new child center. Relocations were successful, demolition is complete, and construction began on schedule with an estimated substantial completion date of March 30, 2025. We are targeting to open the new child center in April 2025.
The project team includes members from BJH, WUSM, Lamar Johnson Collaborative (architect), IMEG (engineer), and Clayco, Inc. (general contractor).
