Facilities Operations Update

4560 Clayton Avenue Building emergency roof repair starts December 23rd

Starting Monday, December 23rd, there will be an emergency roof repair project at 4560 Clayton. On Monday, contractors will shut down the turnaround north of 4560 Clayton, use the drive for the equipment (boom lift, telehandler, trucks, crates, etc.) and start removing and creating the clay tile. The crated tile will be staged on the south side of the building in the no-parking zone west of the dock.

The contractor will work weekdays between 7 am and 3:30 pm, with the expected sub-completion date of January 31, 2025 (weather dependent). The main entrance, school entrance, and ADA entrance will remain accessible for staff and students throughout the project. Pick-ups and drop-offs for students will be acceptable at the east entrance when school starts on Jan 6, 2025, along with their normal entry near the turnaround.

The sidewalk west of the main entrance will be closed intermittently throughout the project, with a path open for ADA access beneath the canopy roof. Barriers blocking the construction zone will be in place throughout the project. Please see the aerial view for more information.
