A 44,000-pound generator gets installed

Sent on behalf of Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

A generator that could power 500 residential homes was recently installed in the Barnes-Jewish Plaza West Tower. It’s one of four generators that will keep things running in the event of a power outage. See it hanging mid-air and then being pushed into the building.
