Sent on behalf of Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
As part of the Plaza Entry work for Campus Renewal, the patient/visitor entry drive into the Plaza Garage from Barnes-Jewish Plaza will be replaced starting April 4. The work will continue for approximately four months.
The work will impact the patient and visitor Plaza Garage entrance as follows:
- During the week, contractors will allow one lane into the Plaza Garage and one lane out.
- Starting at 6 pm each Friday, the Plaza Garage patient and visitor entrance/exit will close. This includes the sidewalk along the entrance/exit ramp. It will reopen by 6 pm every Sunday.
- During the weekend hours, when the entrance is closed, patients and visitors will be redirected to the team member entrance of the Plaza Garage on Clayton Ave. The gates will allow patients and visitors to enter and exit.
Detour signs will be posted, directing patients and visitors. - Weekend team members can still park in the Plaza Garage using the Clayton Ave. entrance. There are no changes to team member parking access.
- This work does NOT affect the physicians’ entrance/exit to the Plaza Garage on Euclid.
- The drop-off/pick-up lanes at the hospital entrance will remain open.
- Barnes-Jewish Plaza will remain open in both directions.
- The duration of the project is weather-dependent.
