If the current weather forecast holds for March 10, Forest Park Forever will conduct a prescribed burn in Forest Park between 8 am and 4 pm, including Deer Lake Savanna and Hidden Creek Savanna. If time and weather permit, we may also burn in Successional Forest or Kennedy Forest. These plans are subject to weather conditions and could change or be canceled as late as tomorrow morning.
Possible closures surrounding a prescribed burn in Deer Lake Savanna or Hidden Creek Savanna may occur on Grand Dr. starting at Cricket Dr., Union Dr. between Grand Dr. and Theatre Drive, and Theatre Dr. between Pagoda Circle and Union Dr.
Trails and roads may be temporarily closed during prescribed burns to ensure public safety.
