Clayton Avenue within the Forest Park boundaries will close just after midnight on Wednesday, August 6, for a dedication and community celebration marking the completion of the East Waterway project. The street will reopen around 9 p.m. on August 6.
The section of Clayton Avenue is located west of Kingshighway, between the medical campus and Hospital Drive, and extends to Faulkner Drive. Signs will be posted starting July 28 to alert those who park along Clayton Ave. of the August 6 closure.
Team members and physicians exiting the Plaza Garage from Clayton and Euclid avenues will be able to access Hospital Drive to Kingshighway.
Those who drive through the park on Clayton to the campus should plan alternate routes or expect to be detoured.
