Please be conscious when placing perishable orders for delivery during the Christmas and New Year Holidays.
The WashU Medicine and Danforth Receiving docks will be closed on the following days:
- Wednesday, December 24, 2025
- Thursday, December 25, 2025
- Wednesday, December 31, 2025
- Thursday, January 1, 2026
Most delivery services will be open and making deliveries to businesses on both Wednesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 31. FedEx, UPS, and other delivery services are aware that WashU Medicine and Danforth docks will be closed, and they will not attempt deliveries to our docks when they are closed. Delivery services have no way to store perishables for that period of time.
It is essential that labs not place perishable orders for delivery on days when the docks are closed.
