Beginning Monday, July 6, demolition work will begin in McMillan Plaza to accommodate the crane and construction laydown areas needed for the McMillan Phases 1–5 renovation.
This work will include the selective removal of concrete and asphalt, as well as planting beds. Exterior demolition is scheduled to be completed by July 10.
In addition, Phase 1 interior demolition of the MEP systems on floors 10–13 will begin the week of July 6 and will last approximately 3 months. Noise testing will be done on the upper floors beginning next week to determine what disruptive activities will need to be scheduled off-hours.
