As renovations continue, areas reopen, and detours shift. Three new elevators to serve the main and street level lobbies opened in April. With the elevators, a new street-level lobby and atrium also opened, providing a street-level connection to the new Plaza West Tower.
The corridor on the main level, north of the gift shop, will also reopen to the McMillan corridor, easing the current detour.
But, there’s a tradeoff.
The main-level Central/Express Elevator lobbies have been closed for several months. Using them for the next few months will require going to street level.
Plaza Entry Main-level changes: April-August
This next phase enables contractors to renovate the remaining portion of the former main-level lobby. Goodbye, pink-and-green 1980s-era flooring and walls!
Detour routes have been adjusted. The changes to the street and main levels are outlined below. See maps for closure details/adjusted detour.

- Patients, visitors, and team members use the new elevators to reach street level and access the Central/Express Elevators.

- The Link detour through the former Plaza cafeteria remains in place
