Contractors will close the street-level entrance to Barnes-Jewish Hospital nightly, Monday through Friday, starting at 8 p.m. on Monday, June 22 and will reopen by 4 a.m. each morning. During this time, contractors will cut open sections of the escalators and use the resulting openings to provide ventilation and facilitate debris removal. The work is expected to continue for about three weeks.
Team members who get dropped off along Barnes-Jewish Plaza who typically badge in or exit at this location during overnight hours can enter/exit through the Plaza Garage and use the bridge.
While visitor traffic should be very light during overnight hours, they should be directed to enter and exit via the bridge and garage as well. Signage will be in place to alert team members and visitors.
