Beginning Monday, July 27, the exterior renewal work within Wohl Circle will transition to the next phase. This phase will include reopening St. Louis Children’s Hospital (SLCH) Circle to traffic by 6 a.m. Monday morning and shifting the jobsite fencing, which will affect pedestrian traffic exiting the Clinical Sciences Research Building (CSRB).
The ground-floor stairwell exit on the west side of CSRB will be closed, and emergency egress will be routed through the 2nd floor of CSRB. These closures will allow demolition and excavation to begin on the Wohl Bridge and Wohl Clinic Canopy.
These egress closures are expected to remain in effect through completion of the canopy demolition. Once canopy removal is complete, the jobsite fencing will be shifted again to enclose the entire Wohl Bridge, including the closure of the Wohl Hospital north entrance. Additional information will be provided in late August detailing these changes.
