Starting on August 24, Barnes-Jewish Hospital will begin interior demolition of the second- and third-floor bridges between Rand Johnson and Southwest Tower to complete the Plaza West Tower Project.
Concrete and structural steel removal (the loud and disruptive work) on the bridges is scheduled to begin the week of August 24, 2026, and continue intermittently through the week of October 26, 2026. Please expect construction traffic inside and outside of the building, noise, and disruption associated with the demolition of a building structure during this period.
