Starting Monday, September 21, construction will begin on the Phase 4, 5B and 6 portions of the plaza. Work will be performed in and around the Metrolink platform, the Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC) west front entrance, and the sidewalk areas near Parkview Avenue.
Please note and plan to access the plaza via the south-side sidewalks on the Mid Campus Center (MCC) circle.
Once the current work is complete, we will move to the final phases of work at the Metrolink platform entrance and the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP) campus entrance.
Please expect continued noise, disruption and congestion at the MCC circle through October, in support of the Ellen S. Clark Hope Plaza Restoration.
Because of the weather and unforeseen field changes, phases and dates are approximate. This means the construction team may need to move work areas and phase dates earlier or later to adjust to project progress.
If your work on campus takes you in or around the Steven & Susan Lipstein BJC Institute of Health and Ellen S. Clark Hope Plaza, please anticipate shutdowns, disruptions and inconveniences associated with this project.
