In order to perform preventative maintenance on the air handling systems serving the labs the following events will take place.
AHU-1 Outage
Start: February 8 (Wednesday): 12:00 AM
Finish: February 8 (Wednesday): 6:00 AM
The following operating conditions will be expected:
There will be no supply airflow to the northwest and west lab spaces on all floors. Spaces may be a little warmer or cooler than normal.
There will be reduced airflow to the fume hoods throughout the building. Hoods will need to be shut and chemicals capped or stored prior to the outage starting.
The exhaust airflow to all of the BSL3 will remain operational.
No work may occur in any of the BSL3 suites during this period
AHU-2 Outage
Start: February 9 (Thursday): 12:00 AM
Finish: February 9 (Thursday): 6:00 AM
The following operating conditions will be expected:
There will be no supply airflow to the northeast and east lab spaces on all floors. Spaces may be a little warmer or cooler than normal.
There will be reduced airflow to the fume hoods throughout the building. Hoods will need to be shut and chemicals capped or stored prior to the outage starting.
The BSL3 labs will not be impacted during the AHU-2 outage
