Stone washing began on the existing building stone in August and will continue through October. A crew of masons will be working from the swing stages during this time with pressure washers to clean the building limestone. Once the stone has been washed, another crew will follow behind them to roll on a sealer. They are currently working on the south face of the building and will turn the corner to the east face of the building in mid-September, continuing around the building counterclockwise until complete.
During this time, water will be present at the ground level, so please expect this inconvenience. The cleaning and sealing will continue through October 2023 and is weather dependent.
