Barnes-Jewish Hospital’s New Patient Care Tower

Sent on behalf of Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Contractors are nearly two years into constructing the new patient care tower at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, which will transform the skyline along Kingshighway – and patients’ lives – now and well into the future. Get a behind-the-scenes look inside the new tower, see some time-lapse footage, and hear the perspectives of John Lynch, MD, BJH president; Samantha Miller, director of patient care and Marshae Owens, assistant nurse manager, heart and vascular; and McCarthy’s project director, Joe Lewandowski. The new 16-story facility is scheduled to open mid-2025, with 280 inpatient heart and vascular beds, two floors of radiology, two floors of pre/post surgical space and a new cafeteria with outdoor seating.
