In support of the new 8210 BSL3 suite, OFMD will be completing failure mode testing of the suite. The testing will impact all of the labs in MPRB including the BSL3 suites. To minimize the impact on the lab occupants, the testing will be completed on an overnight schedule as follows:
Tuesday, January 23rd: 9:00 PM through 1:00 AM the following morning.
Wednesday, January 24th: 9:00 PM through 1:00 AM the following morning.
During these outage times listed above, the following impacts are expected:
- The exhaust air for all of the non-BSL3 labs will be off intermittently. No work should occur in the fume hoods during the outage times listed above.
- The supply air for all of the labs will be off intermittently. The supply air units will be off for relatively short lengths of time, so minimal impact to space temperatures is anticipated.
- The supply air to all of the BSL3 lab suites will be off intermittently. No work may occur in the BSL3 lab suites during the outage times listed above.
