On Sunday, June 22nd, 6 am – 3 pm, the air handler serving the first-floor administration offices and restrooms will be offline for repairs. Airflow in the affected areas will be minimal, and temperatures will be warmer than normal.

During Friday, June 27-28, 8 pm – Saturday, June 28th, 4 am, the Lab Vacuum will be shut down to facilitate new duct work occurring on the 8th & 9th floor renovation construction. This will affect the entire vacuum system in the facility. Thank you for your patience during this time.

On Friday, June 6th, from 8 to 9:30 am, facilities technicians will repair the HVAC system serving the B120 BSL3 suite. During this time, NO work will be conducted in the suite.

On Saturday, June 28th, 6 am—4 pm, Contractors will isolate the building’s hot water to repair a leak and install valves. The building may experience areas with limited heat.

Elevator #3 will be taken out of service, starting Monday, June 30th, at 7 am, for adjustments and repairs. The elevator will be returned to service once all work is complete.

On Thursday, June 26th, 5-7 am, facilities technicians will be performing preventative maintenance on the exhaust systems serving all BSL3 labs within the building. During this time, NO work shall take place in any BSL3 suite.

On Saturday, June 28th, 7-11 am, Air Handler 2-3 will be shut down during this time to facilitate lighting upgrades. There will be no heating, cooling, or air flow to the 2nd and 3rd floors.

During the below noted date and times facilities technicians will be performing preventative maintenance on the HVAC systems serving the 4th and 5th floors. During this time NO work shall take place in any BSL3 labs. 6/25 4 am – 6 am6/26 4 am – 6 am

On Sunday, July 13th, 7 am – 3:30 pm, facilities and contractors will perform tests on the fire alarm’s duct detector system. No alarms or strobes will be heard or seen during these tests.

The D.I water will be out of service during this time frame due to construction on the 8th floor only.
