On Wednesday, August 9th 7-8 am Facilities door technician will be installing new doors sweeps for the entry and exit door of BSL3 lab 434/445. In addition, the door technician will be investigating a door issue in BSL3 lab 443. During this time NO work shall be conducted in 443

On Thursday, August 10 5-7 am Facilities will be turning off the gas that supplies the entire buildings of CSRB and CSRB NTA. There will be no gas available to any labs or equipment that uses natural gas during this time.

To support the construction of BSL3 lab suite 8210 and investigate an electrical issue, BSL3 lab suite 8201 will be unavailable on Wednesday, August 2nd 6-7 am. During this time no BSL3 work shall be conducted.

Elevators in this building will be out of service for about 2 to 4 hours between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm on August 7 – August 10, to conduct annual inspections and fire recall tests as required by the Elevator Safety Unit of the Missouri Department of Public Safety. Facilities will be turning off the steam that serves floors 6, 7, and 8 on Saturday, July 29th 7 pm to Sunday, July 30th 5 am. There will be no steam to autoclaves during this time. These floors will experience cooler-than-normal temperatures during the above-noted dates and times.

On Saturday, August 12th 6 am – 2 pm Facilities will perform maintenance on the air handlers that serve floors 6, 7, and 8. Floors 6, 7, and 8 may experience slightly warmer than normal temperatures during the above-noted date and times.

On Saturday, August 5th 6 am – 2pm Facilities will be performing maintenance on the exhaust fans that serves floor 6, 7, and 8. No work should be performed in fume hoods on these floors during the above-noted date and times.

On Friday, August 4th from 3 pm to 5 pm Air handling units B1 and B2 will be turned off at separate times in the East Imaging Center for inspections. In these times there will be little to no air flow and cooling to the basement and cyclotrons in the building.
