Elevator 102 will be out of service on Sunday, June 9th, at 8 am for 4 hours to perform preventive maintenance. The elevator will be back in service at noon.

On Saturday, June 15th 6 am – 2 pm contractors will be making necessary repairs to the air handler serving the fifth floor. The entire floor may experience warmer-than-normal temperatures during the above-noted dates and times.

On Saturday, June 8th 6 am – 2 pm contractors will be making necessary repairs to the HVAC system serving room 1700 and lab 1754. Temporary cooling will be installed where freezers are in use. Room 1700 and lab 1754 may experience warmer than normal temperatures during the above-noted dates and times.

On June 5th to June 6th from 10 pm to 10 am there will be a building wide steam outage for the McDonnell Medical sciences building for new lines running to the 7th floor autoclaves. In this time there will no humidification, heating, and steam to the other autoclaves in the building.

On Tuesday, June 18th 5-7 am further testing of the Fire Alarm system on floors 5 thru 11, there will be a series of speakers and strobes on these floors, and strobes only throughout the rest of the building.

On Saturday, June 8th 6 am – 4 pm Facilities will turn off the air handler serving the pedestrian link and administration offices for the south section of the building for maintenance. On Thursday, June 6th 3am – 7 am a contractor will be working to finalize portions of the fire alarm system; we do not anticipate any alarms.

On Friday, June 7th 9 am – 12 pm an inspection team will be testing the fire alarm system for proper working conditions throughout the morning. There will be audible alarms and visual strobes during the course of the test. IT IS ONLY A TEST

On Thursday, June 6th 3-7 am there will be a pre-test for the new vertical expansion fire alarm project. We do not expect have any audible or strobe lights.
