Synopsis: 
Protective Services and Barnes-Jewish Hospital Public Safety officers responded to a report of an assault that occurred in the 500 block of S. Euclid Ave. An unaffiliated woman reported that she was assaulted by three unaffiliated men. Officers located and detained all three men. The investigation revealed only one of the male subjects was responsible for striking the woman in the head with his hand. The SLMPD arrived on scene and released the subject with a court summons for Simple Assault.

Synopsis: 
Protective Services attempted to de-escalate an interaction between Metro Public Safety officers and an irate unaffiliated subject in the Metro Bus Depot.  The subject would not leave the area and approached officers aggressively.  Officers handcuffed the subject and prepared a written trespass warning.  The subject shoulder bumped a Protective Services officer.  The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department took custody of the subject and removed him from campus.

Synopsis: 
Protective Services officers responded to the Wohl Surface Parking Lot for a report of a fight in progress. When officers arrived, only the victim remained on scene. The aggressor had fled the area prior to officers' arrival. The victim stated that an acquaintance had been harassing her via social media and had followed her to campus. The victim tried to leave the area to de-escalate the situation, but the aggressor initiated a physical assault. The victim defended herself and the aggressor fled the scene. The victim declined charges and indicated she might be interested in pressing charges.

Synopsis: 
Protective Services officers responded to the 700 block  of S. Euclid Ave. to provide assistance to BJH Public Safety officers who were engaged in a fight. Upon arriving, Protective Services officers observed a subject actively fighting with three BJH Public Safety officers. The subject kicked and bit a BJH Public Safety officer. Protective Services attempted to render assistance to the BJH Public Safety officers. A TASER was deployed and used in a drive-stun fashion to gain compliance from the subject. The subject continued to resist and assault officers. The subject bit a Protective Services officer on the hand. The officer also injured his wrist in the altercation. Officers were able to place handcuffs on the subject. However, the subject continued to kick at officers and be generally combative. The SLMPD responded to the scene. The subject was transported to the Barnes-Jewish ED by the SLFD. The SLMPD charged the subject with two counts of Assault 2nd, and one count of Assault 4th.  Referred to SLMPD.

Synopsis: 
An unaffiliated subject flagged down a Protective Services officer in the area of S. Euclid Ave. at Clayton Ave. The subject told the officer she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. The incident began in the area of S. Taylor Ave. and Choteau Ave. The subject and her boyfriend had an argument which resulted in her boyfriend punching her with a closed fist and throwing her to the ground by her backpack. He then placed his hands around her neck and strangled her. She was able to break free and run away. He chased her and knocked her down. He punched her several more times and bit her. He then took her backpack and their 2 month old puppy, and left the area. The subject refused medical treatment. Protective Services officers contacted the SLMPD who responded to the scene. The subject ultimately refused help from the SLMPD and stated she was returning to her boyfriend's residence to retrieve her backpack and the puppy. The SLMPD wrote a report despite the subject's refusal for services.

Synopsis:
 A WashU Medicine student reported that an unidentified subject assaulted him the day before. The student was waiting for a MetroBus at the intersection of Forest Park Ave. and Euclid Ave. when an unidentified subject, possibly intoxicated, struck him in the chest with a closed fist. The student did not immediately report the incident. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:
 Officers received a report that an unaffiliated subject was in the MetroBus Depot making indiscriminate threats to others in the area. The subject walked away from the area as officers arrived. He walked north on S. Taylor Ave. while officers monitored his movements. Officers observed the subject harassing others as he walked, so they intervened and attempted to detain him. The subject resisted officers' commands and assaulted them. The subject was injured in the process. He was eventually successfully detained and EMS responded to the scene. The subject was transported to the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Emergency Department, where the SLMPD met him. SLMPD took control of the report.

Synopsis:
 An unaffiliated subject entered the women's restroom on the 2nd floor of the BJCIH. He stuck his head under an occupied stall. The occupant, a BJH employee, screamed and the subject fled the area. BJH Public Safety officers located him shortly after and took him into custody. The employee wished to press charges. The SLMPD responded and took custody of the subject. He was charged with sexual misconduct and assault.

Synopsis: 
  A patient of the Physical Therapy clinic located at 4240 Duncan Ave. reported that an unaffiliated subject assaulted her as she left the building. Staff and other patients witnessed the assault. Staff stated that the unaffiliated subject entered the clinic asking to be treated without a referral or appointment. The staff advised him that he could not be treated without a referral. The subject walked to the vestibule and opened the door for a patient who was leaving. He followed the patient and grabbed her buttocks and genitals from behind. The patient made a report with the SLMPD. The SLMPD advised they would charge the subject with Assault after he is located. A BOLO was created and disseminated among campus security in an effort to locate and identify the subject.

Synopsis: 
  An unaffiliated subject reported that his girlfriend who is a BJC employee stole his phone from him while he was parked on S. Euclid Ave. near the Irene Walter Johnson Institute of Rehabilitation. During the altercation, the subject suffered scratches to his hands and face. Protective Services officers located the BJC employee and recovered the phone. During questioning, the employee reported that her boyfriend had assaulted her by placing her in a headlock and cutting off her airway. She scratched him to free herself from the assault. Neither party agreed to press charges and both declined medical attention. The unaffiliated subject left campus and the BJC employee returned to work.
