Location: Grant Medical Clinic
Synopsis:  A family member of a patient at the Grant Medical Clinic observed an unknown subject pulling on door handles of vehicles parked on the surface lot. Protective Services responded to the lot. The subject was already gone, but two vehicles were found to be damaged. The windows were shattered and pry marks were evident. Nothing was reported stolen.  Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A WUSM landscaping employee reported  several WUSM owned trees, signs, and Missouri State Highway signs were damaged at the off ramp from US 64/40 TO westbound Kingshighway Blvd.  Vehicle parts and debris were located in the area.  Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A WUSM  employee reported  damage to the drywall outside the suite entrance. The damage appeared to have been made by the handle of the door. The door latch also seemed loose. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Chromalloy American Kidney Center (CAKC)/ Wohl Clinic Surface Parking Lot
Synopsis:  A CAKC patient reported parking her vehicle in a handicap spot during her appointment. Upon returning to her vehicle, she noticed damage to the rear quarter panel. The patient did not believe the damage to be consistent with a vehicle collision. She believed it to be an act of vandalism or destruction. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: 4480 Clayton Ave. Building Shed
Synopsis:  Protective Services officers received a report of graffiti on the south exterior walls of the salt sheds located on the surface lot of the 4480 Clayton Ave. Building. The south exterior walls of the salt sheds are bordered by a chain link fence that runs parallel to US Hwy 64/40. There are no CCTV cameras that cover the area. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: 1234 S. Kingshighway Blvd. surface lot
Synopsis:  A BJC employee attempted to "piggyback" through the exit gate of the 1234 S. Kingshighway surface lot without using a badge to exit the gate. The gate arm lowered onto her vehicle causing the gate arm to break from the post. The employee reported the damage to the contract guard in the lobby, however she left before Protective Services' arrival. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A vehicle drove through the gate arm at the entrance to the 818 S. Euclid Ave. surface parking lot. The vehicle immediately reversed out of the entry lane and proceeded to leave campus. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A WUSM professor reported his computer monitor screen was cracked sometime over the weekend. The employee believes his office was locked at the time of occurrence. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: 4511 Forest Park Ave. Surface Parking Lot
Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported the theft of the registration tags from her vehicle's license plate. The employee was unsure of the last time she saw the tags on her license plate. She parked on the surface lot of 4511 Forest Park Ave. Officers canvassed the area and noticed several other registration tags missing, however the timeline for when they were taken is unknown. Protective Services is investigating.

Attempted Larceny/ Property Damage

Location: Wohl Hospital, 2nd Floor
Synopsis:  A WUSM contractor reported several rolls of copper wiring and copper pipes left in a locked room on the 2nd floor of Wohl Hospital were loaded into a bin. The bin was located outside of the door. The contractors did not leave the items in the bin and believed someone had loaded them into the bin in an attempt to steal them. Some of the copper piping was cut to better fit inside the bin.  Protective Services is investigating.
